With our core membership, you get access to our gym, the team, the classes, our fantastic range of equipment and the community atmosphere. YMCA gym core members get access to everything apart from 1871 Coaching and sessions.

1871 is all about high quality coaching, for a community of people who dream big. We’re constantly redefining our goals and we (the YMCA Coaches) are on hand throughout the process.
Our programming is designed to be highly effective and accessible to all, regardless of ability or starting point. We feel really proud of the community we get to be part of at YMCA gym.
As well as articles and updates we’ll publish the weekly programme for 1871 on this blog. Our programme is a structured combination of strength and conditioning, and CrossFit.

YMCA running club is open to all. You don’t need to be a member to take part. We hold training sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and our runners hold social runs and enter races all year round. All abilities are welcome. Just turn up. No one gets left behind!
